  1. NEVER, EVER, GIVE ANYONE (individuals or companies) YOUR PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, (PIN) OR YOUR T-ACCESS PASSWORD.  YOUR PIN AND T-ACCESS PASSWORD ARE FOR YOUR USE ONLY.
  2. DO NOT provide your debit or credit card number, PIN, expiration date, or any account information in response to a computer-generated call claiming to be from the Treasury Department Federal Credit Union.  DO NOT respond to the computer-generated call.  If you receive one of these calls and are not sure what to do, please contact us immediately at the numbers listed above.
  3. Treasury Department Federal Credit Union does not send out emails with attachments requesting that you download information onto your computer.  If you receive a request that appears to be from the Treasury Department Credit Union with an attachment requesting that you download information to your computer for security, DO NOT DO IT.
  4. Treasury Department Federal Credit Union does not call, email, or text message members or potential members requesting information or a response about their accounts.  For your protection, do not provide your Treasury Department Credit Union account information in response to any telephone calls, emails, or text messages you receive.  If you receive a telephone call, email or text message about your account with the Treasury Department Federal Credit Union, as a precaution, please contact us before responding, at (800) 344-4497, option 4, to verify the request.

  5. Use only trusted links and browsers to login to Treasury Department Federal Credit Union T-Access (online banking).  Beware if spoofed websites being sent to you asking you to login with your online banking credentials.  These sites are trying to steal your real login credentials to potentially gain access to your online banking accounts and steal your money. If you believe you have attempted to access a fake TDFCU website, report it immediately to [email protected] and then find the correct website, login and change your access information.
  6. Never give your T-Access login credentials to any lender.  There is no legitimate reason for any lender to request your T-Access (online banking) login credentials.
